Who We Are

Druid Trends is a wedding and fashion industry trend intelligence platform built by Druid Agency. We help wedding planners, designers, and content creators identify emerging trends across Pinterest, Google Trends, and YouTube so they can create timely, relevant content.

What Data We Collect

Druid Trends collects and analyzes publicly available trend data from the following sources:

• Pinterest Trends API (trending topics, search volumes, sample pin images)
• Google Trends (search interest data, related queries)
• YouTube Data API (video metadata, engagement metrics)
• Google Ads API — Keyword Planner (aggregated keyword search volumes, competition levels, bid estimates)

We do not collect personal user data. We do not track individual users, collect email addresses (beyond direct contact), or build user profiles.

How We Use Pinterest Data

We access the Pinterest API to identify trending topics in wedding, fashion, and beauty categories. Specifically, we use Pinterest data to:

• Retrieve trending search terms and their growth metrics
• Display sample pin images associated with trending topics for planning and inspiration
• Calculate trend velocity, growth rates, and composite scores
• Generate content planning recommendations based on trend momentum

All Pinterest data is accessed through the official Pinterest API in accordance with their Developer Guidelines and Terms of Service.

How We Use Google Ads Keyword Planner Data

We access the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner service) to validate trending keywords discovered from social platforms against real Google search demand. Specifically, we use Keyword Planner data to:

• Retrieve monthly search volumes for candidate keywords identified from Pinterest, YouTube, and Google Trends
• Read competition levels (LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH) and competition index (0–100) for keyword prioritization
• Read suggested bid ranges (low/high CPC estimates) for campaign budget planning
• Read historical monthly volume data to identify seasonal patterns in the wedding/bridal vertical

We access the Google Ads API only against our own Google Ads account. We do not manage advertising accounts for third parties and do not resell Keyword Planner data. All access is performed via OAuth2 with credentials stored securely on our server. Our usage complies with the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Data Storage

Trend metrics, analytics scores, and aggregated data are stored on our servers for analysis and reporting purposes. We do not store personal Pinterest user data, individual pins, or board content. We store only publicly available trend metadata such as topic names, search volumes, and sample image URLs provided by the API.

Keyword search volumes, competition levels, and bid estimates retrieved from the Google Ads Keyword Planner API are stored in our internal PostgreSQL database (keyword_volumes table) and are used exclusively for internal trend validation and campaign planning. This data is never shared with third parties or made publicly accessible.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties. Trend analytics are used internally by Druid Agency and authorized team members for content planning and client reporting.

Data Retention

Trend data is retained for historical analytics purposes, including tracking trend lifecycle patterns and seasonal comparisons. Users may request deletion of any data associated with their account or inquiries by contacting us directly.
